In a small Angolan town called Quipeio. There was a power outage that lasted two months which happened to be caused by a problem with the generator. It was malfunctioning. But lucky, angola has many big rivers to create hydroelectricity with and South Africa has agreed to help build that 10,000 mega-watt creation. They actually used to have dams but were destroyed by the ending in 2002 civil war.
What I think about this is that they should have rebuilt the hydroelectric power dam in the first place straight after the civil war. Because if they have natural renewable resources that are 100% non environment harming, then they should use them instead of having a large generator and wasting money and turning down better and more efficient forms of electric power and not rebuilding it earlier. This would never have happened if they just took rebuilding action maybe a year at least after the civil war ended.
