"Picture" this photographer's experience

Recently, a 26 year-old photographer with the name Jordan Nicurity fell 6 metres when climbing a cliff and broke his pelvis into 3rds and nerve damage to his foot and internal injuries. He was stuck there with no food and water for 3 days straight except his tea in his thermos, and he had to crawl around on numb hands until he dragged himself onto a road where he called at maximum volume to 2 hikers that were passing by. He was rescued.Later on after Jordan was rescued, he quoted in these words:"You know, the second you give in and let yourself panic or whatever, you're as good as done. You're useless to yourself. So you keep pulling and fall where you may. Hopefully you get yourself a few feet closer." He had surgery and was in the hospital for 18 months and he once again quoted:You know, I'm just so lucky, If this is the worst I get away with, that's fine by me."

I am glad that Nicurity got rescued and that he was okay. Man was he lucky; It was a miracle that those two hikers pass by him and saw him in the ditch. Although he should have gone with someone or brought an on*star porta-device with him just in case something like this happened. OR, he could have found a safer route up the cliff like going through the bushes on the other side of the hill so that once again something like this won't happen. Let us just hope that he still has the ambition to do wilderness photography later on in his life. Pray that this doesn't destroy his ego.
